Today, there is a guy on eBay selling a matrix link for $150-$200. Fortunately, the eBay watch dogs are there to find it. Can you imagine paying $200 for a matrix link, all to find out that the lists never move? These sellers are trying to recoup their losses on eBay by breaking the auction rules and selling these matrix links. We need to crack down. Have any of you spoken directly to eBay?

I went under "plasma" and found more info auctions. I chose one and I will use it as an example for how some of you can prevent these auctions as well.

Before I do that, I'd like to share a few of the ways I track these guys. If you don't track them, then they'll do it again. I'd also like to say that we need to turn up the heat on both the auctioneers and the sites that sponsor them. It is a lot like fighting terrorism. We have the people actually going out and doing the work, and then we have the main "hub" (site/country) which sponsors them. People may say that matrix sites have not yet been deemed illegal, but auctions on eBay are against the rules. We have the right to take these guys off eBay.

Start finding out these guys' email accounts and contact PayPal about them. Just send a letter to PayPal, letting them know that this user is promoting matrix sites and selling information. Address the letter to: ofacappeal@paypal.com

Then, find the site that sponsors the auctions. How? Well, many times the auctioneer will copy and paste the "About" page from the matrix site. Look for a very unique line in the auction and copy/paste it into a search engine. The site should come up in your search. If the auction does not allow you to copy the page, then just type one of the more unique sentences into the engine instead. Be sure to report the auction and seller to the eBay watch dogs as well, and they will take care of him.

I found a $9.99 matrix-info auction at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3043614151&category=39828

This guy has copyrite protection on his sales pitch, so I typed a unique sentence from it into Google.com and came up with some good info.

For one, this sales pitch is being used on another auction site, bayoubid.com:

http://www.bayoubid.com/item/13508/

and here

http://www.bayoubid.com/item/13420/

And another auction site, thisoldbike.com:

http://www.thisoldbike.com/indexCDplus.html

It just keeps going and going. The eBay watch dogs are helping to bring down these auctions and keep the sites from doing it. We need to keep hammering at the source though. Start reporting matrix sites to the authorities in the state the site is located in. Report the sites to their pay company as well. If we can get these sites to operate off money orders, then they will not survive.
