Although it was gone pretty quickly from the
forums, Esto was kind enough to duplicate
his most recent ridiculous post on his blog at
http://stephencrosehome.blogspot.com/2007/01/success-through-advertising-where-are.html
In his typical rambling fashion, Esto states
My inclination is to say this is not going to change to the point we will have mega-reach and mega-success as a business which is able to pay everyone handsomely on advertising revenue alone.
I actually never thought this, because -- during the 100K/100K days -- I figured the notion of a 10 billion company would not wash and said so at the time.
It would not wash because the sort of ad revenue such a scenario assumed was completely off the map in terms of realistic projections.
You don't have to go any further than drankoolaid's
post entitled Esto Document -- Self Incriminating (http://www.matrixwatch.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4523) to
see this is yet another lie from Esto.
A little blurb from that delusional work
The completed YMMSS is, in general terms, a
community of 100,000 with Six Figure incomes.
At that point we would have continuing
expenditures by members, because it is logical
that even with an income of $100,000 one would
want to add to it. But we could expect one thing
more.
We could expect the slack in purchases to be
entirely taken up by retail advertising revenue.
How that can happen is described below.
Our Success Program as a $10 Billion Company
Our Success Program's founder and leader Kim
Inman has sketched out a scenario. I use the term
advisedly because it is not an explicit goal, but
rather a thought of what might unfold as we grow.
It involves 100,000 members -- over 92,000 more
than our present membership. And it involves each
of these members making in the neighborhood of
$100,000 a year.
This scenario would see us as a $10 Billion
Company.
This picture is usually mentioned in connection
with our potential capacity to compete for the
billions of dollars that will continue to be
spent annually on retail online advertising.
Let's concede that, if this $10 billion company
comes to pass, the retail dollars will flow big
time. And Kim will be more than justified in
noting that such income, along with other income
that is in the process of being created, will
help sustain YMMSS over many, many, many years.
Funny, I must have missed the part where Esto
says it "would not wash".
Of course, this is all part of Esto's M.O. to move
away from STA and pull people into his latest
greatest deals for Greenwood and Search Big
Daddy.
Typical. lol  :head:
January 2nd is a great day for those who haven't
already done so to file complaints to the authorities.;)
