No. I believe not. I am also signed up with this, and it's a site that rewards you to receive spam in your inbox!! LoL. And yes you are welcome to refer people like most pyramid sites do. But on the homepage it is mainly for receiving spam in your inbox. We all love spam! lol :D

you guys lost out on $5 bucks just to receive email. I know of a sight where you can click links and NOT pay a single dime, yet you still earn points and you do get a free laptop. I mean totally free, no e-book buying, or any other lame trick. You can get free airline tickets, motel and Hotel stays. I read the rules, nut didn't see anything about posting links. So if I violated a rule, it was only because I didn't see it in the FORUM RULES section, so please don't flame me, but if you would like to check out where I am talking about here is my link:

Mile Source Where FREE IS FREE! (http://www.milesource.com/join/join.php3?referrer=amnoangel02)

I f I posted where I am not supposed to then Please Delete. I don't mean any disrespect. So there you have it.

I would stay away from these schemes. Businesses like this sell information to advertisers by the bundle. Whatever incentives they give you is a drop in the bucket compared to how much they make by selling your information to advertising companies. They will shuffle your name around until they can find out what you like, and then you become a statistic that they can earn even more money from targeted advertisers with. I have seen business men sell people's information very quickly, no questions asked. So, unless you want to be a statistic in exchange for some flight miles, then stay away from these sites. Don't tell them a thing.

Now I totally agree with you on that Watchdog! I NEVER EVER give my info! Besides, I don't sign up for those spam incentives either. All I do is click on the links. I really have never had a problem with Milesource and Spam. I have been a member for about 2 years. I have never received unsolicited mail from them. So on that count I am truly grateful. So far it is free. I don't have to spend money, or luckily **fingers crossed** Personal information. Although I say the same could happen with all matrix sites also. They would give someone's info in a heartbeat if someone named the right price!

Watchdog if your talking about this ezlaptop site, I don't think you are right on this one. I have also signed up for this and I haven't received spam from this site. I thought I would, but every e-mail has been soley from ezlaptop. And on their site they even state they wont sell your information. I've been a member for a while now, and everything you state above I have not have happened to me.

BUt if you talking about that milage site, then nevermind. I'm just not sure which site your talking about. I did check out the milage site and although this person claims it to be free I would never sign up for it. Until they get their pop-ups. The site almost froze my computer! I had a popup attack from that site! LOL. Anyways yeah I would stay away from this milage site if you don't want your computer froze or filled with ads.

Fightingback! I have been a member for 2 years and have never received Pop-ups! Are you sure you don't have other software on your PC that is spyware? Just curious! By the way this other person, has a nickname also: Amnoangel02! Thanks!;)

Oh I'm sure of it. You open that link you posted above and close it you computer will die because there are so many pop-ups! It's not my computer, I take good care of it with spyware, firewalls, and anti-virus programs. It's not my computer, it's the site.

What are you talking about when you say "This other person, has a nickname also?"

But it's 100% fact that the site has pop-up attack! LOL

Have you guys ever tried MyPoints? I use them and have cashed in on over $100 in free gift certificates (Target, Black Angus and Bath & Body Works are the ones I've taken advantage of. They have lots more).

Did you read what I posted? What I am saying is that the bigger rewards they give you, the more they are selling your name. Sure, it may be a little while until you realize it, but give it a little time and the results will hit like an avalanche. I am not trying to insult your intelligence, or say that you have been duped, but I know that these incentives they offer are not worth the hassle that their actions behind the scenes will bring. I have seen businesses sell personal information without even thinking about. Remember, in the Information Age, "Information" is the valuable commodity. I would not want a couple gift certificates to have MY name and info sold and traded over and over again for the next 10-15 years.

I've used MyPoints for Years now and I've received $525 worth of gift certificates for Bombay Company. And I've never bought anything from MyPoints or their sponsors. Their ads have been comming much less frequently lately tho'.

That's your opinion but it doesn't bother me. I give them an email address that I expect to get junk mail on (a hotmail address so it gets a lot even without signing up) so I might as well get something FREE out of it. In fact, I'm about to the point where I'm going to cash it in for another FREE $10 to Bath & Body Works (for the wife) or Blockbuster (for us) or whatever it is I choose. I LOVE FREE stuff. :D

I've noticed their stuff comes in spurts (heavy around Christmas time). I occasionally sign up for stuff they offer but haven't done too much recently.

They used to send a LOT more about 2 years ago.... several per day. they also had more surveys and things you could join to get points. Even around hollidays it hasn't been in same for a couple of years.

Oh yeah.... they also used to give a minimum of 10 points per email read. Sometimes 15, 20... points... I think I got 30 once too.

Firefighter I wasn't trying to come off condescending, regarding spyware info, I was just, as I had said: Curious, I too take very good care of my PC with anti-virus software and Anti-spyware and Firewalls. As far as This person. I was referring to me....LOL! In a previous message you stated I don't know about THIS OTHER PERSON etc; I have a feeling you were referring to me, so I thought I would add this person has a nickname! LOL! I hope I didn't offend you, I was just stating the obvious. Anyways! All in good fun. Wellback to the original topic.

I guess if you guys are happy with what you have found then stick with it. I really do hope each of you get what is owed to you by these matrix companies. I just figured free is better then paid. Also FYI: I know companies that put on their website that they will not sell or give your information away. A lot of them lie a whole bunch. So I would still be very careful with what you tell them.

It really isn't a matter of signing up for offers. Let's face it half these matrix sites have tons of info on each person, ie; address, name birthdate. What have you. So just be careful!;)

Yea. Listen, members, Matrix Watch was created to help people get their money back from the 21st-century pyramid scam-- "Internet Matrix Sites". We casually adress other forms of scam as well, but I do not want to turn this thread, nor this site, into a place to advertise. This thread is now closed. If you would like to get educated about how the matrix sites work, or you would like to help customers get their money back, then you are welcome to stay here. Otherwise, I would recommend that you take this discussion to another forum.
