For anyone who doesn't remember, Zudirect was a company that some folks reported as not receiving goods (or not receiving them in a timely manner). There was conjecture that it might turn out to be another MYDV. Read about it here:

That thread died down a little while back, so I guess people were generally satisfied with the service. If I were to guess, I bet the company was doing drop-shipping & had supplier issues.

from what i can glean from my own experience and those on similar forums, i doubt this is true, it appears that there are many people waiting for refunds, myself included who are pretty unsatisfied with zudirect's service.
the fact that zudirect did up until last week manage to respond to my emails, makes me feel that they were probably not out to intentionally scam people however I was pretty horrified to find that they were having all these problems and kept their site up and running for months just causing more people to be caught up in this mess. although it is simply speculation, there does appear to be messages on forums, this one included, that do seem like thinly disguised propaganda for zudirect which i think perhaps gives an insight to the type of people running zudirect.
i doubt i'll see my money back but i've definitely learnt a valuable lesson about buying over the internet, it does concern me how little protection there is for consumers or more perhaps more importantly how difficult it is once problems have been dectected within a company like this to protect people from the snowball like effect this seems to have had in the last few months.

Susikerr:
Welcome to Matrixwatch! My speculations were just an assumption since the Zudirect related complaints had dried up here at Matrixwatch a little while ago. I agree with your thought that Zudirect wasn't out to scam people...it seems that they just had "issues" keeping the business running smoothly.
As far as getting your money back, did you consider filing a complaint with a consumer protection agency?

Hello Susi,
Sorry to here about your experience with zudirect.
Did you pay by credit/debit card as usually there is more protection in place for online purchases with a Visa or Mastercard although credit card companies can make it a little difficult for the consumer all you have to do is request a chargeback and hopefully they will send you the neccesary forms.
Its pure speculation but there was always something a little fishy about all this, and the zudirect shills (we had at least one here) only helped to raise alarm bells.
If anyone else is waiting for a refund, please ignore the 90 day statement on the zudirect website and contact your Card company as soon as possible.
