These are pretty common spam for most people, but this one deserved a little more notice because of the numerous spelling errors.

Compliments, I am Charles Botinoff and i presently work in the London out-station office of a world reknowed organisation. Please pardon my approaching you through this medium, as i ask you to consider the issues seriously. Since July 1997, the Swiss Banker's Association, published a list of dormant accounts originally opened by non-Swiss citizens and with the efforts of my organisation, there has been a discovery of over 47,000 additional dormant accounts, ranging from interest-bearing savings accounts, securities accounts, custody accounts, non-interest-bearing transaction accounts, as well as numbered accounts. During our end of year compilation for 2006, i stumbled on a particular account belonging to one late Mr. PHILIP HAY, with a balance of $14,700,000 and without any hint of a surviving beneficiary. I am seeking your sincere co-operation, so i can present your details as the beneficiary to the deposit, so that the funds will be transferred to any account(s) you provide, then we can arrange to meet at any location to discuss business and share the funds with equal percentages.50%-50%. Please contact me immediately, and let me know if you are going to be able to assist me or not, so i can immediately send you more information, while i want us to speak as soon as possible, as everything will be done under legal conditions to ensure there are no risks involved. Regards, Charles Botinoff.

Seriously, these scammers need to at least run their shill through a spell checker.

Unfortunately, these Nigerian Scammers also have targeted the Deaf community, many Relay Call Centers and the victims (retail businesses and/or consumers) who answered the Relay calls.

What is more.. Some of the scammers are already in USA, exploiting some businesses and the Deaf community by pretending to be legitimate Deaf customers calling in orders through the Relay services.

These following links are located at a Deaf forum. I am sure they'll enlighten you on how far these scammers would stoop so low to take advantage of the Deaf people. These scammers have no self-pride or self-dignity!

Soon, I'll be posting a thread about Deaf people who fall into the trap of "promised dreams or riches" MLM/Matrixes scams.

Hello Deaf258 and welcome to Matrixwatch.

This relay sevice does seem to be a massive opportunity for you average scammer, its interesting how the operator must repeat everything that is said even if they have a suspicion that a scam is being perpetrated.

As far as targeting the deaf community-any group that has a large member base or one which they can gain trust by pretending to be part of will always be an attractive target to these scam peddlers and please let us know about any Biz Ops/Scams that are being heavily promoted.
