After 4 years of operation, it would appear that Gotmatrix has finally closed up shop. The website is no longer available. If it is true that the site is gone, this is truly the final chapter of the US matrix scheme.
If you've been a victim of Gotmatrix, please visit our consumer movement page:

I have said that many times the past year when I visit the site to see what is going on. It has been up and down quite a lot so when it is down I wait a few days and try again. And there it is again! :(

Ahhh OK. Maybe that is the case...we'll see.
I do know that 3 new victims have come forward in the last month!

Yes, I believe that! I have watched things moving there for a long time even tho the movement has been very slow.

Too bad that Greg Day (owner of gotmatrix) got away too easy. :( That was our first consumer movement, and was not successful. Most victims choose to just walk away (which is understandable) since their lost might not be too big compare to YMMSS or PIPS or IT4US ... etc.

I believe that is correct as far as reason for not being able to get most victims involved in shutting down that site. $25 to $60 dollar range is much easier to walk away from than thousands of dollars.

I agree to some extent. When you add up $200 times a few thousand victims though, it begins to add up.
Also remember that we actually made progress on this front before the activity died down. The Ohio attorney general had launched an investigation into Gotmatrix, which lost steam due to a lack of victims coming forward. Once again, proof that there is power in numbers.

Well... It's been a few more days and the site is still down. Maybe this time it will stay down. I am remebering that it went ten days once before reappearing but that was when stagnation and realization first started to set in. Some people were actually happy to see it reappear. At this point tho I doubt that many even check to see if it is still up.

Gotmatrix is to the matrix world what Cuba is to communism. Still around, but nobody is really paying attention anymore. And it would be silly for Cuba to claim victory in the cold war just because they are still around. :)
Wasn't there a video clip of Greg Day walking around and announcing that he was healthy? Wait... My analogy has me all mixed up now.

His whole plan for the past year or two was just to ride it out and fly under the radar. Once we had our focus elsewhere, he yanked the site.
A true picture of a scammer in action ..

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. A lot has happened since last time. I am trying to catch up on the threads. Anyway, I would love to see Greg's day come. But I want to caution that he has purposely closed in the past just so that MW would announce it. When it was announced that he closed it, he opened it just to try to say we were liers. Anyway, it is/was hosted on his own servers on his own hosting service called gothost. He had other sites also, so it would be interesting to see what happened, but like all other sites, all the followers were finally turned off by this scammer, and they all stoped following him. Hopefully nobody else was scammed within the last 2 years when we really started putting the nails in the coffin.

I totally misread this sentence the first couple times I read your post.
Whew, for a second there I thought you were a sicko.

Greg Day's plan for end game was flawless as best as I can tell. After all, how many matrix site owners are sitting behind bars today? Knowing the answer to that a matrix site owner just has to ride it out. Hang in there til all the site members get tired of watching to see what happens and quietly disperse. If memory serves, payment processors have more liability than matrix site owners. How ironic is that? :(
