I am wondering if anyone knows where I can put a auction on ebay for donations since I am in need of some money to fix my car. Peterdragin, you are the ebay God, so if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Since refunding my customers it has left me unprepared for my current car problems. And it will take about $300 to fix it. So if anyone has any suggestions as to where on ebay I could post something concerning donations that would be effective I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Jerry

I have no idea where you would place an auction like that.

You need to find something to sell, like that goofy bra that's getting all the bids.

Maybe you could bring pet rocks back, only use some good ole tenn. coal or something.

With all the brainstorning that goes on here somebody might come up with a good idea.

I remember poorme mentioning something about donations in another discussion. It is in one of the threads in the eBay forum. You might want to do a search.

I appologize you are having such a hard time, amagic2u, but I have nothing to sell to anyone worth anything, so I am asking for donations.

hmmm... why don't you offer your service and auction it off on eBay?

Example: Your personal butler for 1 day (24hrs)! Starting Bid: $300 :D

Guys c'mon. Help him out. He shut down his sites and he is trying to refund people. He just has a little care trouble. Anyone have any ideas how he could raise that cash?

I thought of a couple ideas to raise money for your auto repairs:

1. You are on some matrix lists out there (25 Dollar Express, etc.). You could wait until you cycle. lol:)

2. You could start asking for refunds from all those sites.

Yes I could ask for refunds, but I knew what I was getting into when I put my money in those sites, so if I lose the money, I am prepared for that.

Also 25Dollar-Express, I have already worked out a deal with him....

tcb1969a:
are you still trying to raise $300 to fix your car?

have you tried all your friends, relatives, co-workers, and etc.???
$20 here and there will soon get you $300............

Most of my friends are broke, and I have no family....

You can always test the job market. Can you not work for some reason? Just find something that works for you.

Um...yes....I do work. However, I have a lot of bills, and such. So I am tapped out at the moment.....

How about a second job. I have a friend who has some large debt and she works between 60-70 hours a week between both jobs. Not a great life- but at least she is paying off her debt. Plus when you work that much you tend not to spend money. It doesn't have to be a permanent thing either- Just do it for 3-4 months or so. There was a time when I worked two jobs and actually my second job became my social life.

Yes, I am working on that at the moment, as well as another managerial job that pays more as well. But be that as it may, the car has problems that need to be fixed now, rather than later....

That sucks TCB- I hope you find a way to get that handled. Lack of money can be a VERY stressful thing in life. Good luck and try and keep your spirits up.
