Several of our members have wanted to place auctions on ebay or need help writing ads. Many members have problems with violating ebays policies and having their auctions canceled.
However because of the way our site is ran and what we offer there are ways to place auctions on ebay and still stay within their policies.
Here is a brief review of the most commom violations of their policies:
Keyword Spamming- this is listing several items, name brands, etc in your auction or talking about items that really have nothing to do with your what your selling so your item will show up in the searches more often.
selling information- you are not allowed to sell information on ebay about how you can buy or get goods for free outside of ebay.
bonus items- information or e-books cannot be sold with your item as a bonus
placing auctions in the wrong catagory- if you are selling a ring, then it doesnt belong in the laptop catagories.
misleading auction titles and descriptions- this is pretty self explanitory.
Now how do you place auctions in ebay within their guidelines?
First make sure you sell our jewelry packages and nothing else. We will use package A1 as an example. This package contains you choice of either 1 14g belly ring or 1 14g tongue ring and some other items. But we are going to focus on the jewelry.
Now you make your auction for the jewelry. Say you are bidding on your choice of either 1 14g belly ring or 1 14g tongue ring. You can go on to describe the jewelry some more and even add a few pictures from our site. Set the starting bid at $10 or use buy it now as this package only cost $10 from our site. Now heres where you add the good stuff. Ebay does allow in their auction bonuses within these guidelines:
It is generally permissible for sellers to offer a bonus item to bidders within their listing as long as the following requirements are met:
In all bonus listings, the seller must state the exact price at which the bonus will apply. For example, it is not permissible to state, "I will throw in a state-of-the-art black and white TV if bidding reaches a high enough amount." It is permissible to state, "I will throw in a state-of-the-art black and white TV if bidding reaches $150."
In Mutiple Item Listings the seller must offer the exact same bonus item to ALL buyers. Multiple Item Listing rules require that all buyers receive identical items.
Keywords describing bonus items cannot be included in the title of a listing.
So after you make your auction description about the great jewelry we offer you can add as a bonus all members who buy this belly or tongue ring for at least $10 can will also get to earn a free laptop.
Remember you cannot say you get a free laptop in the title. You can put in the title something like 14g Belly or Tongue ring plus bonus(value$1200)!
Now we cannot guarantee your auctions will not get canceled, but if you follow ebays policies and our guidelines above they will not have any reason to cancel your auctions!
