New Forum Structure

Just wanted to let the MW community know that we are working to re-organize some of our forum content.

Please feel free to suggest any new topics to include, and share your thoughts on the new hierarchy. It is definitely still a work in progress. :)

Members, how are we doing with expanding our content list? Is there anything we need to cover that isn't here?

Whose idea was it to change .org to .com?

Did you do 301 redirects?
Do you know anything about SEO?

I hope you didn't pooch all the search engine results

Good questions Ferret.

All the necessary planning has been in place for about a month now. And yes, we know quite a lot about SEO. If you do a quick search for our .com domain, you'll find that the crawlers have been indexing it already.

The one thing that is out of our control are the links out there on other sites. If you can help us with contacting web admins out there, and asking them to update the URLs from .org to .com, it would be much appreciated.

All that being said, we're always open to hearing your suggestions on how to improve MatrixWatch. We've created a site feedback forum (http://www.matrixwatch.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=49) for this very purpose.
