I received an email from the SEC this morning........It did not mention CEP or any other company......It has a name and number for me to call and they might want me to give statement for a pending subpoena...It looks very legit with the SEC seal.....I have no idea how they got my email and what they want from me................Pls has anybody received this email about any program that your in currently???????

Has anyone phoned the number, maybe they have seized cep's records. Guys this whole turn of events smell to high heaven to me. Admn is quiet and then we get this email, I am worried, someone please give me some reassurance.

Why would they worry about all their programs? Maybe cause they are all illegal? Why do people go thru the stress of worring about the SEC coming after them. Why don't they just not scam people. I don't scam people, and guess what:

It's hard to trust anything on the internet these days but the phone number given is correct.

Ignoring it and hoping it goes away could be disasterous.

Seems like we (and they) have another "wait and see" going as to what is what in terms of real, hoax, scam, sham, con etc.

Hello Siska, what I said was even if the e-mail was fake its worth contacting the number given as it is a genuine SEC number.

I have no way of proving if the e-mail is genuine or not but the SEC would certainley be interested if the e-mail was fake as they could pursue the culprit for impersonating an SEC official.

To just ignore the e-mail and hope it goes away if the e-mail is genuine could open those who have received it to more problems later on.

I know Ferret has quite a fan club building on the CEP forum but just maybe with the amount of paranoia Trevor is generating you are looking for demons in the wrong place, just try considering for a moment that the real demon in all this could be the person who you have sent your cash to.

Addition:
Having just read announcement from Trevor the liklehood of this e-mail being genuine is high.
