I just read the files on Global Online Direct. Something that is much clearer to me now is that the investigation over there is what led the SEC to CEP in the first place. If you look at it, it's all the same people on the SEC side, the staff of the Atlanta branch. So much for Ferret being the reason the SEC closed them down, unless he called the Atlanta SEC office. Okay Ferret, you have to give back your snitch award ('is okay, I had to give mine back too)
Second, why are the sheep celbrating that the SEC is asking them questions? And how come none of them has wondered why if it's just an "administrative deficiency" that the feds need to ask the members about it, the members don't know squat about the administrative details. If you have questions about a company's accounting, you ask the controller, not the customers.
Hint for the sheep: they are establishing that people did indeed send money to the crooks, as absurd as it seems that someone would read the CEP website and be dumbfounded enough to take it serisously and send real money to them. You are, by answering them, giving them legal proof that they have offered unregistered securities to the public, a fact they will have established beyond reasonable doubt as soon as 101 of you respond.
And finally, Global Online Direct is often refferred to as GOD, which I think is just terribly funny, that GOD brought CEP down in the end.....
