I've been hearing about a new fraud out there where a buyer transacts with a pet-service website for an animal, sends the money, and then never receives the pet.
Hopefully the community here can help to list which sites are doing this, but here are some tips to avoid getting duped by this one:
- See the animal in person first.
- Do NOT pay/send funds overseas
- Do not send money via a wire transfer (always try to use a major credit card)
