The US Social Security system is a Ponzi Scheme
Is it like the UK version where the govt pays out those with little to live on something to help them get by. Of course its wide open to abuse but hey I don't make the rules or enforce them.

Those that pay into the SS system don't get anything back unless there comes a time when they need it.

Does some of the governments money also go towards funding agencies like the SEC who prosecute those schemes that violate hard and fast investment rules all because they have something to hide and don't wish to follow simple registraton process's which any two bit lawyer should know their way around.

For example:
I can't remember the name but it has somethimng to do with intestinal fortitude which members at the moment are testing to the limit because its not paying :) Its full of smileys as well, damn the name escapes me.

Doesn't a ponzi scheme reward early investors with funds taken from later ones, whereas the SS will give money to anyone who fills the forms out correctly, or is deemed to be an acceptable case.

Just my small opinion.

I'd also argue that the government potentially invests social security funds in some zero-risk fashion (like a big savings account), meaning they gain interest. A ponzi doesn't do this, but rather just pays people with other people's money.

The US Social Security system is a Ponzi SchemeMaybe...... lol

It's a complicated subject that has been discussed here
before and is always bought up by Ponzi participants
like youself who want to inject a Red Herring into the mix.

If you really want to discuss it why don't you come up
with some actual facts and reasoning.

I know that you really want to talk about Trevor Reed s
Colon End Parenthesis which is a faith fraud ponzi scam
so I will not be distracted by your statement.

wondering who is struggling financially right now. would like to hear from those who are nearly broke...waiting for cep $$...

looking at the calendar I realized I will soon need to pay rent for July so now I'm wondering how that will happen. I haven't gone to the grocery store in weeks and I'm driving around my car on bald tires. I'll probably move out of my house within the next week cause I can't pay rent.

In the long run, I'm better off than most. Experienced things many people only dream of... not being able to pay rent or get new tires is nothing in the grand scheme of things. In fact, I'm kind of looking forward to living in the woods, returning to Babylon only to panhandle.... so in the end, it's all good. But the transition isn't always easy.

I'd like to hear who else is struggling. I'd like to hear from those who can't buy food. Those who can't pay rent. Those who can no longer afford to send their kids to college.

CEP is NOT a SCAM. I have been involved with CEP for over 18 months. I have been paid hundreds of times. I get over $20,000 in direct deposits to my checking account monthly. I report this money as income for tax purposes. CEP is NOT a ponzi. They DO NOT use new member funds to pay old members. They diversify funds and invest in a wide variety of things. It's absolutely preposterous to call CEP a scam. For honest opinions, check forums like MoneyMakerGroup and read the testimonies of the people who have been involved since November 2005.

yeah I'd love to know what is meant by "bad start" - considering they've never missed a payout - even through all that stormpay crap -

I HAVE WITHDRAWN OVER $1500 IN THE PAST 30 DAYS

I LOVE CEP - its my main investment right now - I don't even bother with anything else anymore -

Hey 077770

You were the first CEP ponzi pusher and poster on the CEP MMG.com
forum thread. (http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Colon-Parenthesis-www-t26321.html)

You must have made well over $100,000 on CEP if goomba turned $80
into $50,000.
How can you be that dead flat broke when you claimed here on MW
that you were pulling in over $20,000 in direct deposits to your checking account monthly??????
This does not add up.

I guess you are bringing up Social Security because that is what
you will be living on after losing all your money on ponzi scams.....

PS: Surviving the Stormpay crap was NO BIG DEAL as CEP only had about $4,000 TOTAL invested then and a few hundred members (http://web.archive.org/web/20060131230942/http://www.colonendparenthesis.com/)
A lot of CEP members quote this to prove how great Trevor Reed and Co. is
but they don't know the facts or figures.......
Look at the Way Back Machine for the real deal

I hope CEP moves the funds offshore before SEC screws us
PPS: Trevor Reed is the one that "screwed you," not the SEC,
The sooner this ponzi gets shut down the less people will lose
in the long run.
CEP could be paying you right now because the SEC didn't stop
them yet..........

Yeah, and also, when you call Social Security, they don't answer their phones, just like the scammers do. Also, you can't find them, and they are using a fake address, and they are being run in Belize. They also take egold and paypal. They also have a forum that they censor, and they have fake people in the world claiming they got paid.

Oh, I also forgot one thing about Social Security that is like a ponzi. Social Security also says that you can get 720% per month, so if you put in $20 today, and you are 50 years old, when you qualify for Social at say age 75, you will have

$4,399,900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0 00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0 00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0 00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

It really isn't enough money to buy much, huh, cause I always hear people say they can't live on Social Security. Well, if it's a ponzi, I don't know how you could live with so little either.

The govt sets the laws, and says ponzis are bad, social security is good. The government is a socialist organization that is designed to collect funds from working citizens to support socialist agendas, police force, milatary force, roads, forests, social security, etc. Thats the only real purpose of government to protect it's citizens.

When people enter a ponzi they enter in hopes of a return of money. It is volunatary, and the ponzi is almost always disguesed as a legal operation, whereas its not. For social security, its not voluntary. It is taken out of our checks to help those who need it, with the understanding that hopefully when you need it you'll get help.
