Hello everyone...
A couple days I saw an airing of a very interesting program on CNBC called "American Greed" (episode #6). The first 40 minutes or so are devoted to analysis of the 1990s fundraising programs of 'Greater Ministries International', a church in Tampa, Florida.
The numerous parallels between Greater Ministries and CEP are startling, to say the least. But before I tell you any more, please watch the re-airing of the program. No matter what you think about Trevor or CEP, I think you will find this report quite interesting and educational. Please watch with an open mind.
The program re-airs on CNBC:
TONIGHT (Sunday @ 10pm PDT on the west coast, 1am EDT on the east coast; I think that's 5am GMT?)
THURSDAY, AUG. 2 @ 9pm PST, 12am EST, 4am? GMT
It is also likely that the program will re-air sometime soon on MSNBC as they tend to re-show these types of programs.
Also, please don't read this as an endorsement of any particular network or show; I just thought this was relevant enough for me to sign up for a MW account and stop the lurking I've been doing for the last couple years.
I would love to discuss the parallels with anyone else who has seen this program. Unfortunately I was not able to find a posting of the full video anywhere on the web, so you'll probably have to catch it on your TV.
