Isn't that interesting?
Shelby
June 4th, 2003, 09:01 PM
not really....maybe you know something I don't....doubt it.
hello
June 5th, 2003, 05:23 AM
I do not claim to know anything Shelby. I am merely stating that you no longer take Credit Cards. Apart from this law suit, a recent arrest of a Matrix site owner and now the grand daddy of them all, Ezexpo is ONLY taking Money Orders and no more Credit Cards, well if that isn't interesting in itself in the Matrix world, than I don't know what is.
Shelby
June 5th, 2003, 08:22 PM
Guess you don't then, huh.
hello
June 5th, 2003, 11:46 PM
Guess? What is there to guess? Wasn't the owner of Ginix your "best friend" and that they would never leave you? Very interesting indeed.
Shelby
June 6th, 2003, 12:45 AM
Don't know where you heard that.....guess you know alot more than me.
hello

OK another truth on this comic website.
You are an idiot....

Shelby,
You certainly have taken to insulting people, what is up with that? You are starting to sound very desperate.
And what is up with you moving your site ownership out of the US?
Such a move implies possibly a few things.
1. You acknowledge that what you are doing is illegal and this is a last ditch attempt to try and avoid the inevitable.
2. You intend to set up shop outside the US to simply take off and avoid any litigation against you.
My guess is that you are moving the operation to the carribean similar to some of the gambling sites to be free of US laws regarding gambling and lotteries. And that some of the gambling sites there have payment processors that are willing to accept you.
In any case if you do attempt to relocate outside of the US, it will look like you are attempting to escape any judgement against you and EzExpo from this lawsuit.
Also, I suggest you refrain from calling people 'Idiots', it does not make you appear any more inteligent.
Shelby
June 6th, 2003, 03:14 AM
you mean intelligent?
hello
June 6th, 2003, 08:15 AM
When someone (such as Shelby) has to call another person names, it definately speaks volumes.
Shelby
June 6th, 2003, 01:49 PM
Yes he's tired of these idiots he is being forced to deal with.
That's what it speaks, nothing more and nothing less.

how does this out of country thing work?
Does that mean it was a good idea to invest in sites based outside of the US?
I hope so... because I have
Good Luck with the Law Suit Shelby.. I am behind the EXPO on this one.

I now understand why Shelby speaks the way in which he does. He feels that he is right and that everyone who does not agree with him is truely wrong. That's fine, he is intitled to speak his mind.
Shelby

Someone has a glimmer of understanding finally

Do you all really think this is the "real" Shelby on these post?
I dont think so but if it is, You go Shelby you have a huge army backing you.

You probably do not have a lot to worry about when dealing with companies that set up shop outside the US for gambling purposes.
The primary reason for them doing so is to avoid US laws regarding gambling. This is still a gray area, and the actual legality hasn't been completely determined, but I would expect a concrete answer on that in the next couple of years.
However, when ever dealing with companies outside the US there is some additional risk involved, and you do need to be careful.
What Shelby may attempt to do is a different situation. A matrix may very well be identified as an illegal scheme as a result of this lawsuit, and it is a different story to leave the US to avoid jurisdiction regarding an illegal activity than to leave the US to avoid laws regarding a legal activity.
If the general matrix idea is ruled an illegal lottery or ponzi scheme the location of the company (in or out of the US) will not matter. So to answer your question, No, it probably does not make a difference in your situation. If any thing you have less recourse when your out of country matrix goes under (unless it is in Canada where it is probably about the same).

Only time will tell.
Shelby
June 9th, 2003, 02:48 PM
I can tell you that we are not illegal, that's what Timmy and his lawyer have come up with something about a lottery, which we are not, to rip everyone off. We will not be convicted of anything because we are not being charged with a crime, only a civil lawsuit in the state of CA, which we don't operate in anyway,,,
Now Timmy will try to lead you down the stray path for his own purposes, which his lawyer stated in the MSNBC article was to clearly shut us down,,, now that is illegal especially the way he went about it.
Hope he has a good job..

Shelby,
Just because you are not located in CA does not mean that you don't do business in CA.
dbright
June 9th, 2003, 07:59 PM
Shelby, just because you say that you are not illegal does not make it so. The lawsuit mentions more than lottery...it also mentions "ponzi scheme" which a matrix site certainly is, and there are laws against that. There really isn't any argument for that. I've seen all the ebooks that you can download from ezexpo. You can by them on ebay for $0.99 to help some new seller boost his feedback or you can order 10 times the number of ebooks by answering some stupid spam mail for $9.95 or less. That is what makes it a ponzi scheme...who would pay $150 for something that is READILY available for $0.99 without the entry into the matrix.....i'll tell you...absolutely no one. If the lawsuit doesn't shut down these matrix sites, i'd put money down that eventually the FTC will. All it would take is several hundred complaints from people who finally realised what they've gotten into.

The former owner was kind enough to clarify my questions. You seemed incapable of doing that. All you've done lately is come off like a schoolgirl yelling on the playground.
You've pretty well lost what little respect anyone in the business had for you, which was pretty nil to begin with. I challenged your boy Wiit last night to answer the question - he claimed to know the answer. So guess what happened? The thread was again deleted and your puppy never responded.
And of course, I am banned from the forum now.
You are so terribly afraid of me Shelby that you and your bootlicker admins simply kill what you are afraid of dealing with. None of my posts violated any policies. They only asked questions you were afraid to address.
You are a doddering fool, an idiot in command of something who's concept you yourself don't even grasp. A little fish in big waters. A hick coming to the big city. A little man who shakes his fist at the world and screams revenge. I pity you. You truly are not smart enough for the business world.
As for your admins, Wiit is the kid on the playground who prides himself on being the "first to know". A mindless "somebody wanna-be" who parrots "Shelby says Shelby says.... BRAWWWKK!!!" He's an idiot as well. A man who has no real power in his life, except when he logs in. I bet his wife beats him.
Anyhow, I'm still tracking the lists and I will be back to torment you with some more numbers & facts that will confuse & anger you into curling up into the fetal position again. You seem to like that position.
I enjoy this - it's like kicking an unruly street bum in the nuts.
Love,
Bobby

I love this part "He's an idiot as well. A man who has no real power in his life, except when he logs in. I bet his wife beats him." Bobby that post was so funny, oh my god did I have a good laugh. Poor little Wiit.

Yeah, Max I must have. I got back in the forum somehow after being banned, posted 3 messages and now I'm banned again!
And (using of course an alias - c'mon now we ALL have them) was able to see my posts were all deleted already!
I was gonna post something about that too, but I'm down to my last alias!
As you know, Damion has created his own section there. That's the only safe place to post if Shelby has it in for you. Otherwise he or his admins (who have their heads so far up his butt they trade notes with his proctologist) will delete your posts right away. There were a few of us who posted "Welcome back" messages under a thread Damion started and all were deleted. All but Damion's original post of course. Shelby doesn't have the balls to do that I'm sure!
An analogy I came up with is that EZ is like the movie Mutiny on the Bounty - the one with Charles Laughton, not Brando.
The investors are the crew, the admins the officers and Shelby is Captain Blye. The crew are disgruntled with the unfair and slightly demented practices of the Captain. The officers kiss up to him and enforce his wacked-out rule. They snap to in a cowardly, mindless manner.
I can hear it: "Mr. WiiiiiiiiiiiiiT! I said keelhaul that man (delete his every post) and you will do it immediately!"
Oh, wait a minute that won't work at all. In the movie, Mr. Christian gets the courage to rebel against the Captain and sets the crew free.
Never mind, then.

Dear Shelby,
I am very much enjoying the laptop you sent to me; and I can't wait to cycle on the camera. Don't let these idiots affect your business plan. The idiot followers of Master Timmy and all of his other personalities will burn themselves out soon enough. One can only survive on stupidity for so long. Then they'll go back to rolling bums for kicks.
Arzel
June 13th, 2003, 01:19 AM
Why thank Shelby?
Why not thank the people at the bottom of the list that bought your laptop, because they will most likely see nothing.
Maybe that thankyou will give them a little comfort when they get their credit card bill.

When I go out to eat, I thank the chef for a good meal - not the guy who raised the cow.
Arzel

Yeah, well you can thank the chef for the nice arrangement of condiments when there are no more cows.

"Yeah, well you can thank the chef for the nice arrangement of condiments when there are no more cows....."
Cool reply, Arzel! Were we separated at birth by chance?
Now I KNOW Jason is Shelby. He's referring to receiving a laptop from EZ! We KNOW that's not happened in a long time.
And "can't wait to cycle on the camera"? Hoo boy! Dead giveaway that you're no investor there.
Shelby, I leave you with the usual closure word:
Fool.
