Watchdog, I had a questions about the lawsuit with PayRequest. Some of the sites you listed in the lawsuit have already closed shop and have their money from their PayRequest accounts. What happens to these sites that already closed shop and have their money? Will they have to give the money back to PayRequest if you win? And what if you can't track down the sites that closed shop and have the money they collected, what happens then?

Or will PayRequest have to bite the gun and pay for their own loses if you win?

What does that do for the couple of sites that have closed and refunded? I noticed BigStarr and Abstract-Wallpaper are named, didn't they refund everyone when they closed?

Yes they did. Well I know for sure BigStarr did.

But I'm wondering about sites that closed down, took the money out of their account and didn't refund? What happens to these previous owners? Do they have to pay anything back? Or will PayRequest have to pay for these loses if the restitution lawsuit wins?

I'm not sure exactly how these work, but I have a very good idea. All of those sites are named bacause they were all matrix sites that were serviced by PayRequest. The courts will go through the trial period and make their decisions. Most likely, since PayRequest was the one actually transfering money, they will be liable as well as all the matrix sites, depending on the outcome of the case. If PayRequest and all the matrix sites lose, then the important thing is that the customers get their money back. The courts don't care who pays that money, as long as it is paid back. If PayRequest has to pay back most of the money, they can then sue each of the matrix sites to get back their money, since they were the ones that were actually running the scams.

Like I said, I'm not exactly sure about this, but I have seen this happen in the past with other lawsuits I have watched. I'm sure Watchdog will correct me if I made any errors. To me this is the logical thing anyways.

As for those sites that claim they have already refunded everyone, I think all we can do is try to take their word on this. Since we have seen so many sites become scam sites, the safe thing to do is let the courts decide LEGALLY if all the refunds were made. If they were, then they should be fine, and not have to worry. On the other hand, if they missed someone, even by accident, then they will be given their refunds as well, assuming the case is won.

Well, it is nice to see that the matrix owners are intelligently arguing the issue. Zion's Matrix, posts like this last one of yours are unacceptable and they don't make your side look any better. Please answer the thread about your site, the frozen PayPal account, and out allegation that you lied when claimed to speak to them about never freezing your account.
