After i emailed Prince from applematrix, and said that people were thinking of doing something if he didnt refund everyones money he emailed me, and said that his lawyer, and the attorney general told him not to do anything right now. He said someone contacted the attorney general, and told them. So thats where it stands so far. I dont see us getting our money back, unless we file a lawsuit, and if anyone does please let me know,Thanks, Adam
Here is the email he sent me.
I have been handing out refunds for months. I then received a letter from the Attorney General of Louisiana from someone because they didn't like the order I was handing out refunds. The AG said I was under investigation. Doing the investigation I was told by my attorney to DO NOTHING until the investigation is complete. If I continue to give refunds during the investigation process I can be accused of circumventing the process.
The Applematrix website was not originally my website. I provided space for an employee of mine in anothe business. I was handing out refunds to limit my own liability. I think other matrix owners were out to get Adrianna so they did a lot of things to shut it down. The AG closed down all accounts linked to the site, that includes Paypal and Gottapay. That money cannot be used to give anyone refunds. That is also considered evidence to show how much was made and taken out of the enterprise. My lawyer said to stop doing anything until I am ordered by the AG with instructions on how to proceed.
I feel sorry for everyone. Everyone knows that refunds were being sent to people. But some people didn't like our process (paying people who made no money first) so they complained and basiclly screwed it up for everyone.
To protect myself at this point I am following my lawyers advice.

Yeah I got the same email from him too. But we dont know for sure that the attorney general is investigating him. It could be another lie so he can buy some time. He was right how I did not like the order of them handing out refunds because 1. I do not know of anyone over $30 that they have refunded and 2. He said he was refunding people that never cycled first, and I was one of those people who never cycled, yet I recieved no refund. I do not think they were refunding regularly. I only know of two people getting refunds. 1 refund was for $15 and the other was a partial refund of $30. I dont want to wait 4 to 6 more months to get my refund. I have already waited over 2 months. What can we do to speed up the investigation if they really are under investigation? And how can we find out if they are truely under investigation?

I dont know, maybe contact the attorney general. I thought maybe you were the one that contacted them, but i guess not. I too was thinking that he was full of it, and i told him in my reply that we were going to do something against him, and he didnt answer back, so i dont know.

I have complained to the attorney general. But he emailed me saying that he got more than one complaint from the attorney general and that is why he is under investigation. I know the attorney general has complaints on them I just dont know if they really are investigating them. I really dont have anytime to sit down at my computer this weekend cause Im really busy. Right now Im just checking a few posts before I go to bed and it should be mabye Sunday morning before I post again.

I say though that people should start sending more complaints so the attorney general will take this case more seriously and not waste any time to do an investigation.

I'm sorry but I do not believe this. He said the AG shut down his accounts? I think not. The AG would not do this. The AG will not shut down the accounts at all. All they do is work as a medium trying to resolve the issue for all parties and then if that does not work, they will look into other avenues based on the severity and legality of the case.
Believe what you want but I am not buying this one. I think it is just some made up bull to string people out a while.

How would the attorney general know to just shut down his Gottapay and Paypal accounts? I dont think that the attorney general would know that those kinds of accounts were used by Prince. I think if the AG actually did freeze accounts it would be like a checking account or something. Something that everyone knows about. I dont think the AG even knows what Gottapay is and they may not even know what Paypal is. So I find it hard to believe that it was their 2 online accounts that were only frozen. Can somebody please check with the AG?

I was re-reading the letter I got back from the attorney general and this is what is says
The Consumer Section of the Attorney General's Office has recieved your complaint.
As you may know, state law does not allow us to act as your private attorney in this matter. However, we will try to assist you with this problem by bringing it to the attention of the company. We will send your information to the company and ask the company to review the problem and respond. When we have recieved the company's response, we will review it and send a copy to you. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion of the process.
We hope this will improve communications and bring a solution to the problem.
We appreciate your interest in contacting this office. We hope that our efforts will help you and the company work together to resolve this matter. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Section at 225-342-2435
Very truly yours,
Richard P. Ieyoub
Attorney General
So this letter sounds a lot like what Damion was saying. The AG is saying that they will be the middle man in helping to resolve this issue. They also said that the process should only take 4-6 weeks, not the 4-6 months Prince was saying. Basically they are saying that the company and I should try to work it out and that they will try to help us work it out. This doesnt sound like what Prince was saying. He said that the AG froze his accounts and that they advised him not to send any refunds for 4 to 6 months.

The attorney general works more as a mediator than an attorney.
Plain and simple.....they are not going to take serious action unless they feel it is in their best political interest.

I'm not sure that the AG can freeze those accounts, but I do know this. When I made a report to the AG, I told them everything that I knew. I told them which pay processors they were using, which people were involved, including Adrianna and Prince, as well as which other authorities I sent reports to. Those other authorities include the www.ifccfbi.gov website, and the FBI office in New Orleans. They also have all the information I mentioned above. If the AG can't freeze those accounts, then I'm sure that the other organizations will have more power. These orgs usually work together.
As far as what Prince is saying. I would not trust that person at all, but if what he is saying about his accounts being frozen is true, then that is the first step in the right direction for those of you who were scammed. At least now, he cannot run away with that money. It is being frozen in order to make sure the money goes to the rightful owners. I know that for some of you it is hard to wait a long time for that money to be refunded, but you have to remember that when you originally spent that money on this scam, you were willing to wait a long time in order to get your profit. Please be patient. I'm sure that Prince had no intentions of refunding you anytime this decade. At least this way, you have a chance.
