I have to say that this site does offer some hope to many of us who invested in matrix site(s). I'm thankful this site is here because ezexpo does not follow through on their guarantees on their web site. If you cycled there, odds are you are back on the list and that guarantee means nothing! I'm thankful this site may be able to help myself and many others who put some money into this scheme.
Let us know how we can help, even the small things we can do to help may go a long way.
Here's my first idea, how about we design a flyer for matrixwatch.org and allow anyone who visits this site to print them out and we can pass them out and put them on the hoods of cars.

ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATE: These MatrixWatch forums are currently closed, but you can report and discuss suspicious websites & eBay auctions at the new MatrixWatch site (http://www.matrixwatch.com/). If you search for a scam and find that it has already been reported, then flag it to bring it toward the top of the list. Use the MatrixWatch Watchlist to tell others what scams to avoid online.

Thanks for your support spyder. You've been a great help here, as well as the others who share your passions.
Your idea is a pretty good one, but we probably won't need to pass out flyers since the matrix community has pretty much heard about Matrix Watch. Some of the people out there in the "real world" have never heard of matrix sites, let alone a watchdog site bent on informing people against them.
Here are what I think are the areas where we REALLY NEED help at this time:
1. More Media Recognition: Even though our story has been reported on, or referred to, by MSNBC, the "CyberGuy" of KTLA, and TechTV, it is important that we keep that ball rolling. Right now, we are working to obtain an interview by NPR, and several computer "techie" magazines. If some of you can help me with contacting them, it would be a tremendous help.
2. Help with the eBay effort: New matrix customers are usually drawn in through eBay. Although eBay has policies against the matrix sites, there are often so many scam auctions that eBay misses them. That is where we come in. By reporting matrix auctions to eBay we can prevent a major advertising base for the matrix sites.
3. Keep the information flowing into Matrix Watch: We need information that is up to date and relevant to the matrix community. If a new site opens, or an old site closes, we want to hear about it. The Google bots pick up our thread titles quickly, and when customers of that matrix site do a web search they are often led here to Matrix Watch.
4. Keep reporting sites to PayPal and other pay companies: Many pay companies have policies against matrix sites. If you see a matrix site collecting orders electronicly through Credit-Card merchants or pay companies, then inform the sponsoring pay company, or merchant, about this. If they see nothing wrong with it, then they won't act, but if they have policies against the matrix sites then they will act on them.
