Since Gotmatrix has climbed its way to the top, may be we should also make its 'bestseller' lists more transparent to newbies, so they can decide to invest $0 or $10,000..:)
1. $25 Cash product, cycle of 2, $15 to signup
Total signups = 4012! (108 cycled, 3904 waiting). The last person at position #3904 need 7808 new sigups to be cycled. Comment: I can't imagine how this monster list can expand to 7808!?
Two more interesting observations to share with newbies:
a. Among the 108 cyced, first person got 40 cycled; the second person got 60 cycled; the rest 8 cycled are autocycle fund.
b. Among the 3904 waiting, 434 are autocycle fund. Those above the autocycle fund will be happy because they are push forward, while those behind the autocycle fund must be very unhappy.
2. $50 Cash product, cycle of 5, $14 to signup
Total signups = 1199! (94 cycled; 1105 Waiting). The last person at position #1105 need 5525 new signup to be cycled. In other words, the current list need to expand 4.6 times for the last person at #1105 to be cycled. Comment: Definitely long wait.
3. Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP ($100); cycle of 8; $25 to signup
Total signups =128 (16 cycled, 112 waiting). The last person at position #112 need 896 new signups to be cycled. In other words, the current list need to expand 7 times for the #112 person to be cycled. Comment: Long wait for sure.
I can't tell you the signup rate right now, but I will keep you posted on new signups everyday. So, check back everyday to see how this #1 monster matrix progress, or not progress.
Again, everyone can monitor all the lists themselves. My purpose is a simple one --make the process more transparent to newbies, to help them make better decision. You can ignore my comment, just let the numbers speak for itself.

You may want to recheck those figures. Before I got banned from their site, I made the same mistake. On the really long lists, there is a URL at the top of their rankings. That will send you to another page of people that cycled before a certain date.

I haven't looked at the lists to see if your numbers are correct but I have a question about point #1. If it is a list that takes 2 to cycle and there are 4012 that have signed up, how can only 108 have cycled. Shouldn't it be 2006 (4012/2)? Just wondering if someone can answer this for me.
I am banned from their site as well...so I can't verify anything.

I don't think YCCHEN looked at the other page that has all the past cyclers up to a certain date. It states on those lists to go to another URL to see the previous cycled. I think the total is more like what your inquiry states Hurley...I haven't done the math but I know it is more than what was stated prior.

Yes, I know there are two separate lists of those who cycled in $25 and $50. So, the total people who signed up is more. However, since it does not affect the chance for newbies to get cycled, so I did not include them. What is matter most for newbies is the length of the 'waiting list'. So, I focus on that, instead of those cycled, recorded on separate links. I don't know why Greg separate them in the first place. May be he want to make the lists look 'shorter'? Come on, 5000+ and 4000+ are monster list, one way or the other :)
For those who want to know the whole picture. Here is extra people cycled in $25 and $50 lists.
Extra cycled in $25 is 1324.
Extra cycled in $50 is 177
Just add these # to previous post. I will updated the whole statistics tonight. Thanks for pointing this up.
note: Nintendo gameboy advanced do not have separate list for 'cycled'.

If you look at the money it's over 70 grand he is sitting on in these three lists.
Boy when this site goes down I sure don't want to be in greg's shoes.
He WILL be busting rocks for a long time..

I haven't have time to do maths for Gotmatrix's EXIT plan (REFUND its customers after it crash), but I am pretty sure that it is will be much more than movemeup, >$100,000 (after deducting his accumulated profit). If I were Greg, I will start thinking about a 'soft landing' exit plan, rather than trying to 'restructure' the dying matrix. A matrix is a matrix, if your 'core business' is still matrix, any add on to your 'core business' will FAIL. The longer you drag, the harder you will hit the ground.
That's my 0.002 cents.

Greg will not close the doors yet, becuase if he does, he will never be able to steal his customers money that is frozen in his PayPal Account. He will be able to steal this money in early January. Only God and Greg know how much money is there. I am sure it is a very large amount. I will bet that He will make his move around that time. Then He will try to disappear.

That is one possible EXIT plan, but a very bad one. If he is as honest as he claimed to be, I don't think he will or should run away with paypal's money.
I remember seeing one thread about Greg's paypal account will defroze in Jan, 2004. Any update on this issue? May be someone can bring this critical issue to gotmatrix's forum and other matrix-friendly forum.
Thanks for bringing up this issue, Dirk. Just one quick question, why do you think he needs to keep his shop open in order to get the defrose paypal's money? Why can't he just close down tomorrow, and wait until January to get the money?

ycchen,
I am not sure, but if Greg closes before early January, then his customers may be able to get their money through PayPal, since He has gone out of business. In other words PP may refund his customers, that submitted a complaint, with his frozen funds, since he went under, but I am not sure about this, I am only speculating. You could ask PP about this.
As for Greg being supposedly honest, he would not be running a Matrix site if he was an honest person. Many, many, more people loose money at Matrix sites than make money. They should be outlawed.

9th day update of the top 3 lists on Gotmatrix. 2003/10/16
1. $25 Cash product, cycle of 2, $15 to signup
No signup today!
Total = 5337; Cycled =1431; Waiting = 3906;
If you signup now, you need 7812 extra signups to get your 'free' gift.
One question for Greg: The number of cycled for this list should be 5337/2 = 2668.5. But why only half of them (1431) get their rewards? Even if we deduct all the 450 autocycle fund out of the total. The cycled should be 4887/2 = 2443.5, not 1431. I don't understand. Anyone want to bring this question to Greg, or some of you can explain this?
2. $50 Cash product, cycle of 5, $14 to signup
No signup today!
Total = 1380; Cycled = 271; Waiting = 1109.
If you signup now, you need 5545 extra signups to get your 'free' gift.
3. Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP ($100); cycle of 8; $25 to signup
No signup today!
Total = 128; Cycled = 16; Waiting = 112
If you signup now, you need 896 extra signups to get your 'free' gift.
Note: I do not include "pending" signups because these payments might never arrive.

The reason that the amount of people cycled on the $25 list might be different is because recently he has been shortening the cycle lengths because the lines are slowing down. He is trying to squeeze a few more bucks out of the scam. What he does is change the cycle lengths on a 15 cycle line down to 12. He could have done the same with the $25, but I don't know what the original cycle size was.

I see. It make sense if it is a result of shortening the length of given list in order to 'speed up' the list (or to grab more money).
With so much efforts (combine list and shorten cycle lenght and autocycle fund), the $25 top seller is not moving anywhere. Thank god! Or else, any signup will be donating money, pure and simple. Beside, they are 450 autocycle fund need to be cycled out (digested) together with human. See, autocycle fund is another BAD idea, especially for those who are push down 450 place! ..:(

I wonder how much longer all the customers will it that the lines are finally stagnanting. I wonder what is about to happen. Everyone knows there is no saving these lines. Not even newbs would sign up now. The lines are just too long and too slow.
