I couldn't find a thread about Speedymatrix, has anyone talked about it? http://www.speedymatrix.reallyrules.com/

I think this is a flaw. First of all, the site is very unprofessional. Second, the site owner is either a kid or a person who doesn't understand English very well. He thinks the name "Denise" is a guy name.

When I asked for payment options, this guy emailed me 9 times a day and all my emails were quickly replied. When I finally paid $110 for two PS2, but my name was not on the list. I emailed him how often does the site update but I recevied no emails from him. Emailed him twice and no response. So then I threaten to file a lawsuit and he replied within an hour saying the site is having trouble updating.

So, what do you guys think?

he takes paypal and payrequest, which are both being sued, so he's pretty stupid and will run into frozen account status pretty soon. Not too many people cycling.

It's just another example of why the sites don't do too well...there is too many of them and most are just there to help themselves.

This site looks very bad to me. I think your best chance is to get refund from paypal, if possible.

Even if they put your name on the list, I wonder if you will ever get your product IF cycled.

Here is their TYPICAL refund policy, I am not sure if they have revised it or not. Many matrix owners/supporters are now conformtably relying on this TOS (we are selling ebooks) to legitimate their business and refused any refund ..:(

5.What is your refund policy?

Because we are selling you a digital product (our e-books) and we giving you a Free spot for a free gift. Due to this fact and the fact that we are in the business of selling ebooks we cannot offer refunds to our customers.

Well, when I was choosing my payment option. I find that his paypal option was disabled. It said "Cannot send payment to this account" or something like that. I was still pretty new to matrix and stuff, I thought his paypal got messed up not realizing his paypal account was froze so I used stormpay. Now I'm not sure what to do... But like you said, he can refuse to refund because he's selling ebooks, but I didn't get any ebooks from him when I made my purchase... So do you think I have a case to get a refund?

Stormpay is matrix-friendly, so I am afraid that they might not refund you.

I am sure other more exprienced members will give you a better advice on how to get your refund.

The other thing I will try is to call your credit card company and dispute the charges because you did not get any product (ebooks) from the merchant. Usually, that will work.

Well, I asked him for a refund which he refused. I emailed stormpay and they said his account got suspended. I guess I wasn't the only one who complained. Now I'm ready to send complaint to the FBI and AG. I even told him I would but he must have thought I was joking. According to Stormpay email, they said the fund has already been taken out of the account, so I guess he took the fund out before it got suspended. So at least he should have money to refund my money.

Thanks for the update. What about credit card company? Have you discuss a possibility of dispute the charge with your credit card company since you did not receive any thing from this owner?

So, a matrix-friendly processor do suspend onwer's account if many people complain? I thought they will always stand by their clients (matrix owner) no matter what happen. Is this very common or a very unique case?

I dont think credit card company can do anything, becuz the the credit card i used was really a check card/debit card. so it takes money right outta my bank account. BUt yeah, I emailed stormpay the other day and they said speedymatrixreallyrules@yahoo.com has already been suspended and the fund has already been taken out. I don't know if stormpay took the fund out or the owner took the fund out. This is what the email said when I tried to ask for a refund from stormpay. "This account has been suspended for fraud reasons. Unfortunately, the funds in the account had already been removed from the account." So if I still can't get a refund from the owner, I'll be forced to send the complaints.

Pineapples I would still check with my bank on that. See you never received your product at all- either the stupid ebook or a place on the Matrix. You are probably right about your lack recourse with this, but if it was me I would still call my bank and see what they say. You have nothing to lose with a phone call but you have everything to gain. I personally would never make a purchase over the Internet with anything other then a credit card. Too much risk with a check card/debit purchase.

So why are you waiting to pursue this scammer? I would start the ball rolling immediately. Government is slow at handling these things. Time will only favor the scammer not you.

Okay, I'll give it a shot. But I think they are just going to say talk to the owner because it's not their problem. I mean the bank isn't going to refund my money. But I can talk to the bank tomorrow and see.
