it may be too late, but tanatic-industries scammed over 20 people this past weekend by charging over $200 for these alienware auctions. I just went and emailed all the people that bid on his auctions. Another way to help besides reporting the auction is to email the bidder so they won't get scammed.
We need to bring this guy down immediately.

Hi, hurley. I'm one of the folks you e-mailed. As I said in my reply, I had no intention of following through with payment on this scam - I just wanted to test a few theories.
1st: I noticed 2 of the same auctions from this guy - 1 said closed/sold, and one was open to bid upon. After I "bought" the second, it remained open even after I received an e-mail confirming the successful purchase. I believe that this tactic is some sort of bait - perhaps he even bought from himself or had a friend do so to bait the hook.
2nd: I wanted to see just how far this creep would go with his scam...after I e-mailed him and said under no circumstances did I want to hear from him unless it was to sell me the laptop advertised (fat chance, but one can always hope...), he must have e-mailed ebay to say that his account had been hijacked. I believe that this is BS as I have received 2 e-mails from tanatic, from 2 different addresses, requesting payment. Today I saw he was out of the laptop business and into the Alien desktops.
If possible, ebay should either pursue prosecution or turn him over to those who can.
Thanks again for the warning. I knew it was too good to be true, but it's nice to see that there are people who will help a stranger out.

You know what "GOOD" might come of this, his fees will be tied up with ebay for awhile, for everyone that bids and don't pay he's still charged.
It will take at least 2 to 4 weeks or longer for him to file Non Paying Bidders and Final Value Credits with ebay.
He will be billed first though and then he has to try and get it back from ebay.
That might hurt him a little in the old bank account.
I just hope a lot of others bid and decide not to pay.
In this case, I would gladly take a neg. on my feedback and explain it away, because any good future seller or buyer would look at the neg. with a grain of salt if it was worded that the person that left it was running a scam.

This seller is really making me mad! Why is ebay so slow with this guy. I have reported him twice over the weekend and they just keep letting him put up his ads. What is the problem with ebay and this seller?

I have 2 different e-mails with paypal links in them. Tell me how to get his id from that & its yours.
Do you mean "concept@ execs.com", or the e-mail signed with the name Philip Neumeier?:D
The other paypal goes to tanatic-industries.

Yeah, he's starting to get under my skin too.
I reported him over the weekend, and they actually NARUed him last night for about 15 minutes, then he wasn't NARUed anymore, I don't know what happened that they let him back on.
I reported him and vortexenterprises again tonight for "Keyword Spamming".
If ebay doesn't think that's what both are doing, I'll dig deeper and find another and another violation, they should start to realize some people don't like these type of sellers.

I reported him for the same thing keyword spamming.
He'll be gone soon, it takes a bit on time sometimes. With all the different people reporting him now it won't be long.

He's still out there - desktop Aliens for $200...he does make it a bit more obvious that it's a matrix, though.

Does something seem wrong here? New seller, no feedback and 14 pages of auctions, all the bidders names are private and you have to be "approved" to bid. Maybe someone who has been turned in before and didn't want his bidders emailed with warnings?

I e-mailed two of those new, private auctions for details on bidding. In both cases the seller was in France, and in both cases they tried to "save all the trouble of bidding" by selling direct...
I forwarded the e-mails to ebay to report the violation. I guess I'll see if they do anything about it.

Whoa!! Ebay must be on top of it today. If you click the link now, it says the seller isn't offering any items for sale. I'm guessing the seller didn't just all the sudden decide they didn't want to sell those 600+ items.
Here's another one.

these type of scammers are high priority for ebay and they have a group that just takes these down.
