View Full Version : Damion's TV Appearance, and EzExpo's New Strategy

The recent announcement of Damion's coming TV appearance is only a part of the new strategy that EzExpo has launched to pull themselves from the depths that the past few months have brought.

Their New Strategy
On the afternoon of July 3rd, Damion Flynn, the founder of EzExpo, will appear on TechTV's "Screen Savers" to discuss both his own website and EzExpo.com. EzExpo's hope is that the show will generate a new customer base for EzExpo's matrix lists. TechTV boasts a 20-million-viewer audience. EzExpo has also mentioned its drive to get a new pay processor very soon, and it was said on their forum that they have now incorporated EzExpo. If this is the case, then EzExpo will have more legal room to breath when future lawsuits are brought against his company. Now, keep in mind that EzExpo has also hinted on his forum that this new processor is overseas, and this would take care of his recent problems with the pay companies. So, to recap: A new processor for EzExpo (apparently); a recent move toward incorporation; and a future advertising venue on TechTV. This, I believe, is EzExpo's strategy for rebuilding the company. What about Matrix Watch? Well, as Shelby has threatened here on the forum, he will most likely try to file a suit against me and my lawyer for libel. This move was anticipated from the beginning, and the necessary legal defences have already been established. Not to mention, there is still more to come from Matrix Watch in the coming weeks.

Who we are
MatrixWatch.org does not exist to attack or defame anyone. We are a "watch dog" group; a group that seeks to hold a group of individuals, and individual companies accountable to both the law and their consumers. So far, our outreach has had success. Several matrix sites have closed in fear of future litigation, and many sites have recently opted to refund their customers instead of running off with the money. Still, our job is not done. The FTC estimated that 97-98% of those involved with matrix sites will NEVER receive their award. This huge group of people is the group I want us to represent, and the future members of this percentage do not deserve to get sucked into these sites.

What We Need to Do About It
I want anyone concerned about the actions of these matrix sites to contact the Attorney General for the state of Mississippi, and let him know about EzExpo immediately. Contact the Attorney General of California as well. You can find the link for any state under our "File a Complaint" option on the Main Menu. If you are aware of any other matrix sites who operate as EzExpo does, be sure to file a complaint against them as well. Contact the better business bureau also and let them know about the pay companies that are servicing these matrix sites.

Remember, only 2-3% of those people involved with these sites ever benefit from them. If you see people criticizing you or Matrix Watch they are a most likely a member of this 2-3% group. Do not worry about what they say or what they do. They have a financial stake in this game, and they are not going to let go easily. Just continue to promote MatrixWatch.org, and continue to report to the proper authorities.

Hi WatchDog:

Not sure if you are going to let this post stay, but I do feel that everyone has a right to know that they do not need to seek legal actions in order to get a refund (if that is what they are looking for). If any one has paid with a credit card, they can legally get their money back from the company that processed the charge for ezexpo.

Well first, I am trying to foster as much free speech as possible on this forum. I'm not running it like the MSN forums where anything posted that runs contrary to the beliefs of the administrator gets deleted. This is not Iran! Post whatever you want. In fact, it seems to be a cathartic-healing process for some.

As to what you said.. Yes, you are correct. Customers do not always have to sue the matrix site to get a refund. However, keep in mind that not all pay providers work the same way, and some of the sites are now forced to take money orders. My post above is a long-term vision. You see, one of these days the matrix sites are going to get wise and find a way to conduct online transactions through a company that is outside of U.S. jurisdiction. If this is the case, the matrix site owner is at risk to the greed of the pay provider, and the consumer is at risk because he won't be able to get a refund. Would you like people two years from now to be locked into these matrix sites without the chance of a refund, or an opportunity to take legal action? I sure don't want that to be the case. I am here to make these sites known to the proper authorities before the worst happens! Have you filed your complaint? I've filed mine.

Hi WatchDog:

As much as I HATE ezexpo, I must honestly say that I am NOT completely against ALL Matrix sites. There is one I know (which I will not name) that actually cares about their Customers and even closes the matrix lists when they get too long and then auto cycles everyone off of that list. So that everyone who paid to get a spot will leave with the gift they wanted, and this prevents the lists from going on forever like at ezexpo. So yes there are Good and Bad matrix sites out there. Is ezexpo a bad one...yes definately. Also, I for one NEVER pay anything by Money Order...too scary. I only pay with a Credit Card that my Credit Card company protects against Fraud, so even if the payment process is outside of the US and they will not refund the money, it doesn't matter...all I would have to do is call up my credit company and since I am covered against fraud, my money would be refunded.

Lawyers are lawyers for a reason. They didn't get into their field to help anyone but themselves.

Ez expo is nothing... They will never rebuild... I do not know how they got a spot on TV. And the "screen savers," who cares about that program.
The scam artists come and go. The good guys such as Watchdog and others are here to stay. We may not all get rich the EZ way, but at least we live correctly.
I wonder if our website or the lawsuit will be disscussed.

P.S.: Did anyone else notice on the other forum that Shelby identifies himself as an EZ expo "administrator" and no longer the "owner." Damion called him on it, then Shelby once again denied ownership. Isn't That funny.

I have been looking at their forum and it looks like they aren't sleeping together anymore.

The signs say it's going down the dumper !!!!

It really is going down in the dumper in a hurry. Shelby is clinging on to the July 3 episode of Screen Savers, yeah, like computer geeks are going to send in a money order for his crap. LOL.

Hello,
I beleive it's Damion who's gonna be on the show. Can you imagine if it was Shelby? Arf.

It's not the greatest venue (Screen Savers) and you're right, most geeks won't send anyone any money for anything.
But it's great PR anyway. (Free PR is always good PR)

But I'm wondering what's he going to say? I have had the pleasure of communicating with him and Damion is a stand-up kinda guy. He's a straightforward businessman who understands and enjoys the business world - totally opposite from Shelby.

One teaches and the other is the school janitor.

Damion is involving himself in matrixforum purely out of his own feeling of commitment to the site and the investors. That's it.

Sure, he's in the lawsuit, but he doesn't have to get involved the way he has last couple days. And don't think for a minute Shelby hasn't noticed. There's a bit of "Uh-oh... Dad's home..." there.
The matrixforum has been split in two.
Like South Korea (Damion) and North Korea (Shelby).

So I wonder how a guy can promote the site when he must (I'm just postulating here - I certainly have never discussed it with him) have mixed feelings about it's success under current administration? I would feel that way were I him. I'm not sure I could keep a straight face and pull it off. Wouldn't want to be in his position.

I've owned businesses before and sold a couple. I know the feeling of despair when something you create gets passed onto someone whom you think will take care of it, but doesn't. Makes you feel like kicking them smack in the brussel-sprouts.

Anyhow, I'll be watching and I'm sure he'll do fine.

Bobby

I'm thinking of starting a new business - a Pest Control business. Unfortunately, that means Timmy and Bobby may get bug sprayed. Well, maybe not - I won't spray under rocks.

I wish you the best of luck, I'm sure if you try real hard you will be just as successful as Shelby.
Perhaps you both attended the same business college.

Was it him washing the windows and you mopping the floors or the other way around?

All i have to say is that these matrix sites should all be shut down.
They all know that invevitably there will be hundreds if not thousands of people who are screwed out of a lot of money when the lists get so long that no one else wants to sign up. Just because the people that are giving them money are adults and make their own decisions does not make what these people are doing right or ethical for that matter. Many companies are having to answer in court for their illegal/unethical business practices. Such as all the magic weight loss pills, penis pills etc. They are selling things they know can and will not ever deliver the results they claim. I think matrix sites must go down. Its the only ethical thing to do! I cannot imagine how the owner of ezxpo and some of these other sites can go to sleep at night knowing they are swindling people out of thousands/millions of hard earned dollars. It is a joke.

EzExpo has launched their new forum and have announced their new strategy. It looks as if we were correct.

Well fellow matrix lovers....many things are going on. As we speak there are people out there trying to create laws to protect you from yourself. Some people feel they know what's best for you because you aren't capable. We don't subscribe to that thinking. The matrix is what it is .... perfectly legal and heck just plain interesting. Please look over the entire site before making your decision. http://www.ezexpo.com

Many exciting things are going on. As in a lot of businesses that are successful, some people feel that they can get something for nothing. Mr. Timothy Schulz has filed a class action lawsuit against us. He will lose of course as he filed in CA, a civil suit in a state court, claiming EZ is a lottery. We can reply with honest answers...Are you a lottery? Absolutely not.
Through his course of action, to shut us down and make some money off the previous customers....he will fail in the long run.

EZ Expo.com, Inc has incorported as an international company and is soon to launch international credit card processing in 140 countries this is hugh. We want to provide the truth here, as you will certainly here many lies out there. By filing the suit Timmy also filed against the credit card companies that were our processors. Yeah Timmy, small victory.

This has forced the incorporation and so forth...needed to be done anyway. In the coming weeks, the corporate partners will be launching two new sites for everyone to enjoy. Look for them soon.
NVExpo and CycleNOW.
They also fall under EZ's new international standing. They will offer a subscription service as will EZ. Members will join and be place in the approiate matrix for a free gift, such as pearls, Rolex watches as well as other great gifts. The new CEO has chosen to grandfather all of EZExpo's current customers at a loss to the corporation (the right thing to do), to the new site in the same order....YES!!!...Of course old memebers can ask to be removed at any time for what ever reason they come up with. We don't force anyone to get the free items. Of course the refund policy is the same, due to subscriptions being offered there are no refunds. The subscription service includes e-books that are downloadable and changed monthly, also a newsletter once a month.

Many many more exciting things to come and we invite you all to participate.

Thanks, have a great weekend and be happy.
EZ Expo.com, Inc.

It is now a couple of months later. EzExpo's strategy did not work. TechTV did not bring in the new customers, the grand opening of EzExpo's "sister" sites have only gathered a few customers, and the new overseas processor is dodging them. So, what is the new strategy? Well, lately it has been an outright assault on me. It has been said that I am suing EzExpo for personal gain. Well, if you read through the final page of the lawsuit you can read everything that I ask the court to fulfill. Not once do I request that I receive a large sum of money. What I do ask is that the courts order the defendants to pay everyone's money back. I have already argued this point in another thread though, and this attack against my personal motives has gradually subsided as a result. What is the other strategy employed in its place? Blameshifting of course. Here is the latest from EzExpo in response to questions about the late shipping of items to customers who have already cycled:

From: http://groups.msn.com/ezexpocominc/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=231&LastModified=4675435432708102320

To give you a clearer picture...and everyone else.

Damion says he sold the business to me and therefore I inherited all the debt. Well I was there and haven't addressed this before.
Damion Gave me the business, with the understanding he would give me the money to payout those (you included) who had cycled before I came on the scene. Well Not Damions fault but the next day, paysystems froze the account. Haven't seen anything yet.

So he owed me $120,000 USD when he "gave" the business to me.
Now at this point I have a business $80,000 in debt and no processor. I hung in there, remember, and found Ginix. Darren Vogues at ginix swore up and down, after looking at our site completely, that they would never hold our money even if they stopped processing for us, he swore we would not have to wait longer than six months to have all funds released. This appears to have been a lie from Darren as he now does not answer my emails and Ginix has $180,000 more in addition to paysystems...and both are earning interest on yours and our money.

That's the facts, you see alot of other crap on the forums but reality is hard......on us tooo.

We have hung in there, but it seems our customers are the ones now turning on us and who knows what will happen next.

Looks like they are STILL trying to BLAME others. Why don't they take responsibility for their actions? At least tcb admited that he made a mistake.

tcb,
I am proud of you for not only taking responsibility and doing what was best for your customers, but also for continuing to hang around and give quality advice to everyone.

Concerned,
I just followed the link to that thread at EzExpocomInc, and I see that they are now shifting the blame from Damion back onto me again. Then, they demonize the processors stating that they are the "big winners" in all of this. Not if we win the lawsuit they won't. Should the courts favor our side of the case, the real winners will be the customers, which is unprecidented in the history of internet scam. Most of the time, these site owners get away in time. This time... they didn't.

I also saw a little remark on that forum about how I had the whole thing planned all along. Give me a frieking break! If I had a plan to invest in a matrix scam just so I could sue, then why didn't I just send in a $25 check instead of the $500 I invested back in March? Hmmm?? Then, wiitigo further states that I made this website way before I launched the lawsuit. This is more B.S. Everyone can check out the date I licensed VBportal and the date I bought the domain, and clearly see that it was nearly 2 weeks after the fact. Why did I wait? Well, it was because I was hoping that they would be the ones to announce the lawsuit first. But I waited.. and waited... and waited almost 10 days after the suit was supposed to arrive at EzExpo's door. But they did not announce it. Thinking that it would be swept under the rug by their side, I went on other forums and announced the lawsuit. No one believed me, and I was ridiculed. Since the forums were owned by those with vested interest I decided to start MatrixWatch.org, which was an expansion of a little project I had going on MSN groups.

So still, no admission of what is really happening. Still, no apologies to the customers. And still, more blameshifting and empty explanations to buy them time.
