Of course, there are several ways to find these scammer-matrix auctions, but one effective way would be to visit the "ranking sites" and use the info from there to see which matrix sites are still operating. Ranking sites are websites devoted to supporting the matrix community, and they have a list of all the top-voted matrix sites.

Click on the links to the most popular matrix sites and see what each site is offering. Then, go to eBay and do a search for those items in both the "newly listed" area, and the "lowest priced" area. For example, several popular matrix sites are offering a 42" plasma TV, and I usually find several of those auctions on eBay. Every now and then I see a matrix site start up a new list for an obscure item that they don't think we will find on eBay in time. We do though. That is a strong point of this particuar method.

If you see anything suspicious then report it to eBay. Then, you can even post the auction here on our forums in order to build a team against those auctions. Remember to include the seller ID as well as the URL to the shady auction. In your travels you will probably find other scam auctions unrelated to the matrix community, but what they heck, we can report those ones too.

Thanks to all of you newcomers for your help. We can sure use it, especially with the Christmas season approaching.
