Here's a interesting topic. Most of us had problems getting refunds from Matrix Sites. Those of you that were refunded, please state your experience.
Those who were promised refunds, but never received them, please update us on your current situation.

Well I tried getting money back from a site that shutdown. That was www.megamatrixworld.com
The site shutdown and got their PayPal account frozen.
I tried getting a refund from PayPal but they said they wouldn't process my refund!
Anyone got any suggestions if I could still get it back? I filed the complaints a long time ago, I think it was in April or June. I'm sure it's to late. But I figured PayPal already said no that I can't get my money back so I gave up.

I tried to get a refund from EzExpo back in April. I emailed the owner five times asking for a refund, and then I told them that I would consider speaking to a lawyer. They told me that they were "not afraid of lawyers" and that I would not be getting my refund.
I filed a class-action lawsuit against EzExpo and their processors, Neovi Data, PaySystems, PayPal, and Ginix. I started my own website so that I could talk about the lawsuits, because the other forums were deleting my posts and accusing me of lying about the lawsuit I filed.
After starting the website (matrixwatch.org), MSNBC covered the story, and shortly thereafter KTLA's nationally-aired "CyberGuy" released an interview which was viewed nationwide. TechTV also did a show on EzExpo, and they named MatrixWatch.org as a source of information for these matrix sites. We have received thousands of hits as a result of this coverage.
Since then, other people have risen up to take action against the matrix sites. Subsequent lawsuits have been filed against EmatrixUSA, CardService International, Variety Matrix, PayRequest, etc. Many customers have filed complaints with their State authorities.
A group of members got involved in a major way by organizing themselves into the "eBay Watch Dogs", a group which gets rid of matrix-site auctions on eBay. This has eliminated 90% of the new-customer base for these matrix sites.
The campaign at Matrix Watch has just begun, and we have some exiting events ahead.

ilire98,
Have you tried emailing the site recently? If you don't get any reply from them, that probably means they are not checking their email. That would also mean they are most likely not sending out refunds. Email them and see if they attempt to reply back to you.

Their website was working the last time I checked a few days ago with their site closure message. That must mean the email is also working. If you have any info on the site owner, such as phone number or address, you could try calling or mailing a letter. If that's not possible, you might want to consider filing complaints to the proper authorities, (Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, etc) in the state the owner resides in. I'd consider filing complaints until someone takes it seriously.

I never got nothing from the above website. I think the owner is hiding in Romania or something.
