The matrix sites, especially GotMatrix.com, are trying to jump start their long lists by doing an advertising surge on eBay. They believe that the eBay-Christmas shoppers are prime targets for a low-price deal on high-end electronics. We can stop them if we band together.
The matrix owners need to know that it is against eBay policies to list auctions for matrix sites, and any eBay user who does this is at risk of losing their account with eBay. As an added measure, if we find a matrix auction on eBay, we will ensure that the matrix site sponsoring such an auction is reported to the governing authorites.
Matrix owners, please strongly discourage your members from listing auctions on eBay. Do not become another site that is shut down by the government. We will report you to the authorities if we find that your site is being advertised on eBay.
MatrixWatch members if you would please lend a hand to this cause it would be greatly appreciated. Just read the thread "How to Report a Matrix Auction" in the "Report a Matrix Auction" folder on the forums page. You will be preventing christmas shoppers from getting suckered into these matrix sites.
Matrix customers, if you would like to seek restitution from your matrix site by filing a lawsuit, then please discuss your situation with an attorney. If you would like to speak with our attorney, Jeffrey Wilens, then please contact him at the following email address: Jeff@LakeShoreLaw.org.
The existing matrix sites must not use the christmas rush as a way to gather more customers. It will only lead to disgruntled customers in January and more lawsuits will follow.

28matrix.com encourages people to advertise at ebay. Here's the exact quote:
.................................................. .............................................
IMPORTANT
Since the time in which you receive your free gift depends largely on the popularity of this site, we encourage you to tell others about 28matrix.com. You can easily sell this URL on Ebay or just tell your friends about it! The key to this is, the more people who know about this site, the faster you will receive your free gift.
.................................................. ..............................................
And seems like 28matrix.com took off all ready since they haven't update the lists in weeks and still owe me the Gameboy Advance SP that I cycled plus other rip off lists that I joined...
Anyway, back to ebay. I personally don't think it's working well. Ebay sellers keep auctioning the matrix sites and ebay really doesn't watch out for it, even after we reported so many times. I started my own strategy couple days ago. Instead of reporting it to ebay, I just email to all bidders and say, "It's a scam, I was a victum of it. You should carefully read and ask all questions before you bid. These links or informations that the seller is selling are called matrix sites. These informations or links are not worth anything, I can give it to you for free so you can see it for yourself. It is not worth it! DON'T BE FOOLED!"
Then of course I emailed the sellers about their auction is violating the ebay policy. I actually got one seller emailed me saying that he didn't know it was a violation and asked me how to remove it. For the ebay bidders, I got soooooo many emails thanking me for letting them know. Most of them realize there's a risk that it maybe a scam since the auction is so cheap, but they just want to take a chance. Some others emailed me asked me for the link. ... If people asked, there's no reason for me not to give it to them. Afterall, I did warn them, it's their choice to listen or not listen. So I gave them the matrix sites that I joined and explain to them how it works, ask them to look at the waiting list, and how I was cycled and never receive anything at 28matrix.com, how I sent money but speedymatrix.reallyrules.com and the owner took off, and so on. I told them not all matrix sites are scams, but they just gotta watch out for it. I warned them, so it's their choice what to do next.
I find this strategy very useful. Because people actually email me back and ask me questions. By explaining to them and offering the matrix links for free, they most likely will see the truth for themselves. But I do feel sorry for those who won the auction, the sellers threaten them to leave negative feedback if they don't pay. The only thing I can tell them is to let the sellers know that the auction was violating Ebay User Agreement #5, they can report the sellers to ebay if negative feedback was left.

Greg at gotmatrix would do anything to get his lists moving again. Has anyone actually cycled lately there?
Keep reporting the auctions and emailing the bidders and things will work out.
Matrix sites have all but died now...even matrix sites is only talking about their egold games now that they realize the matrix world has essentially crashed.

Make sure that they know about MatrixWatch.org as well. These appreciative customers may join our eBay-Watch-Dog team out of appreciation. The more help we have for the Christmas season, the better! :)

Good job Pineapples!
I have been away for a while. I was deeply disturbed to find that Gotmatrix's campaign to scam more newbies seems to be working because a few lists start to move. As we all know by now, the more established the site, the LEAST possible for any newbies to get their awards.
Anyone who donate money to their sites from now until the Chrismas will NEVER receive any awards because 1) the lists is too long for established sites like gotmatrix 2) even if you cycled in new matrices (with short list), 95% of chance you won't get your awards!
I perdict that this will be matrix's LAST CHRISMAS. They will take as much money as possible and run away!
I think old Pine's strategy is a good one, we should have more people doing this.
