For those of you who know a bit about operating a website.
I just registered my domain name and it's going to take a few days before it will be available to me. I got my website hosting through globat.com
I go into my admin panel and it asks for me to create a database. I can supposively create my website on a temporary page until my domain is available. I know nothing about programming or databases.
I tried to create a database, and it asked me name it, so i typed in a name and it wouldn't do it. Are you supposed to name your database anything special, such as the domain name? I'm not sure if that feature is working for me yet.
I just know how to upload files and write the html code. I know nothing about programming or databases. Can anyone help me get started?
