This is how I report a seller with multiple pages of auctions, Ebay takes care of them this way also. It's faster and Ebay still cancels ALL the auctions..

Is there a way to know how many have been shut down (if any)? Will ebay notify me if some are closed?

My count of sellers kicked off Ebay is at 515.
Auctions cancled is over 27,000

These are from my own records, auctions canceled are the ones I report.
Sellers are a total from myself and a bunch that hurlly got.

The thing I have noticed is that once the sellers auctions get canceled most do not come back now, before they would try and try to list more auctions, but then they would get just kicked off ebay.

I know in october we got 100 sellers kicked off Ebay, so far this month only 14.

It is working just keep up reporting these info auctions !!!!!!!!

Just a little thing I do is when I find a seller who is listing8 to 10 auctions I always sent the seller this note.

All those yahoo auctions I listed completed, untouched. I'll say it again, Yahoo auctions require three seperate users to report the auction before it gets even looked at!!!!

If I'm not going to get a hand in getting Yahoo auctions closed, I'm sure not going to waste my time tracking them down.

Who are our active watchdogs right now anyhow?

The Yahoo auctions have been reported and one seller has listed more and they have also been reported.

Also they have the same rules as Ebay, and it only takes one report to get them canceled.

The auctions you listed only three got bids the others recived NO bids.

I check Yahoo every few days and report all I find, if you check the box they will sent you a email, when you get it the auctions are almost always canceled already.

I understand that you are a longtime leader in this battle....much respect. But why not just file through Neighborhood watch as I have suggested? I have already been credited with a number of auction closings via the Neighborhood watch, which is cool because they keep track of your "confirmed kills" as I like to put it.

Thats how I report all auctions at yahoo, I have a folder in yahoo mail full of them that have been canceled.

I also keep a record of seller id's so I can go back and check them on Yahoo, as I do on Ebay.

Yes there is a way to check to see if they are closed.

1. Put one from each seller on the Ebay watch list and when they are closed it will show the auction canceled.
2. Put the seller on your favorite sellers list and watch from there. You will be able to see the sellers get suspended if they are suspended.
3. Send yourself a email when they are reported by checking the send me a notice box. With this you can look up the auction latter to check to see if it has been canceled.
4. On auctions starting for $.01 you can bid and risk the $ .01 and if it is canceled Ebay will notify you of the cancellation. If you are outbid on the auction the you still will receive a notice if it is canceled.
5. You may also keep a list of the auction numbers and look them up on the Ebay search engine to check if they are canaled

Here is a simple form to use that will get you the results that you deserve.

Just copy this and send it back to your email address through your email system and then flag it so you can find it easially.

Once that you have it in your email system just copy and past it to the following url message box on the page that follows this page. (go to this url and then hit continue and enter the form in the message box)
There is a "FROM SELLERS AUCTION" section that you can copy and paste the sellers description in or you can leave it blank.
After the "OUTSIDE EBAY PURCHASES" you can add any comments or you can also leave it blank.

The form in itsself is sufficient to start these getting properly reviewed.

When you use this form they will get cancelled a lot quicker, as the reviewers are familuare with this form. It has been used for a long time now and is trusted as it is a restatement of the official Ebay Regulations.

Earlier this week I submitted 161 auctions that exact same way.

Not one was closed I think. This thread has a listing of those 161 auctions.

I have been able to get 18-20 yahoo auctions canceled though! they send me a confimation of auctions that were closed because of my report(s).

Use this form and be sure that you report all the auctions under the "circumventiion of Ebay fees" and they will close them.
This is a copy written form that is used by other consummer groups to get these auctions reviewed and Ebay is familuare with the form and the groups that use it.

When this form is used the auction gets reviewed even if it closes. The seller will get a strike even if the auction is closed by the seller or if it closes by compleated sale.... The next time the seller is reviewed there will be a strike from the review of the prior auction.

This normally does not occure if the auction closes before a review is had. The closing of the auction nullifies a need for a review, but with this form the review is stayed and conducted even though the auction has ended.

This reduces the need of catching a seller three times with open auctions. They can be caught and warned even when the auction has closed.

Use the form and keep on top of a repeat offender and you will see them lose their Ebay Privalages as well as have their auctions closed.

I just checked the first two pages of your lists and found that you are taking real good aim at them.

You are doing pretty darn good!!

On the ones that got away -- most have not relisted, which is a good indication that Ebay has given them a warnning.
Some are out of the UK -- which are hard to close to start with.
Those that have relisted will go on the master list to be watched and reported again. Please report these again for their new listings and it is from this group that the suspended sellers will come from. Thees are the ones that do not learn their lesson and get their walking orders.

As I have said before when you find a guy with alot of auctions send him a note via the ask seller a question stateing that his auctions have been reported, this lets them know that we are watching them. here is what I send to the sellers with alot of auctions listed, it gets some real nasty replys and if they get real foul I forward it to abuse@ their isp.

These 33 dollar auctions are not matrix auctions and they really are hurting the Matrix sites.

All you need is a valid credit card and US adress and you got it! The best part, everything is brand new from best buy or amazon!!

The Ebay system is up and running just fine.

You will need to log in as Ebay is dropping the cookies after a specified time and requiring a relogin.

It is just an Ebay security measure for the holidays.
If you try to report an auction and you get a message page that cookies is not being accepted properly, just relogin and go from their.

Merc, I logeg off Ebay and then tried the link and recieved an inpute error.
Logged back in to Ebay and checked the "keep me loged in" box and came back here and tried the link.
Connected ok.
You have to be logged in to use this link -- Ebay Security just tightening up some loopholes in the security to make the site saffer for the holidays.
i will go back to the post and add a note to make sure that you are logged into Ebay prior to using the link.
