Our "official statistician", ycchen, has compiled so many statistical reports over the last week that I saw it necessary to group them all in one thread. I've also typed up a quick description and purpose for each one.
Some of these reports were replaced with newer editions, so here are the most updated versions for you to read through.
GotMatrix has not proven or disproven every one of these, but if he has anything to say he is welcome to share his opinion here at Matrix Watch.

Greg Day, the owner of GotMatrix.com, has reported that his last month was very successful. According to our statistics GotMatrix has pulled in almost $10,000 in the past month.
Is it a light at the end of the tunnel, or is it just a result of the Christmas season?
Whatever the reason, if GotMatrix continued its current rate of new signups, how long will it take for the existing and future customers to cycle?
This file is a forecast model for the recent performances of 4 popular lists based at Gotmatrix. How long will it take to cycle those customers who are on these four lists?

It seems from that last report that even when more people sign up for the matrix lists, the amount of people stuck on the lists increases dramatically. Ycchen has called this group of people the "permanent helpers", since it will take so long for them to cycle.
So, what percentage of the customers at GotMatrix are permanent helpers? Which lists cycle more people, and which lists don't cycle people at all?
The last report focused on the four most popular lists, this report expands that study to investigate ALL the lists! :)
Read this report to find out. We hope you find it beneficial to your studies.

That last report really brought some serious issues to light. There are so many "permanent helpers" at GotMatrix, and so few customers who actually cycle to get their electronics!!
However, what if GotMatrix were to raise a whole bunch of money for the autocycle fund, and have their customers promote the site like never before. What if GotMatrix spent a whole lot of money for advertising and they had a LARGE group of customers CONTINUALLY coming in week after week, month after month, year after year?
This report shows that even if that was the case, the speed of cycling the helpers might increase slightly, but the permanent-helper list would increase even faster than the speed of cycled customers.
In other words, the top of the pyrmid stays small, and the base continues to get larger and larger.

In Ycchen's last statistics report, he tries to analyze GotMatrix's exit strategy.
-Will they raise enough money to cycle everyone off the lists?
-Will they give everyone refunds?
-Will they continue onward with their business model?
There are thousands of people on the lists (7767 to be exact) at GotMatrix.com waiting and waiting to get their prize. How much would it cost to cycle off all of these names? If there were no more signups, how much money would the autocycle fund need to move people up?
This professional report shows that the fiscal liabilities for the customers on GotMatrix's lists excede $2.17 million if they want to cycle all 7767 people, which is 5.78 times the total amount of money they brought in ($375,040).
If this is correct, how can Gotmatrix generate an extra $2.17 million to cycle all the permanent helpers? We do not believe that an autocycle fund and other piecemeal income can cover even 1% of the $2.17 milion needed (i.e. $20,000).
After Christmas, ycchen anticipates a huge drop in GotMatrix's sales that will make most of the lists stop moving. They could go bankrupt after more customers would lose their patience.
What is the alternative to holding on to the $2.17 million of liabilities? Close shop and refund all the 7757 permanent helpers. The maximum refund will cost around $315,533, which is much cheaper and probably acceptable to all customers.

If you are a current or potential customer of GotMatrix, we urge you go press the owners on these issues. Ignoring these very serious mathematical problems will NOT make them go away. Do not be distracted by the "big money month" they just had. It only makes these mathematical possibilities more certain. If you find out any answers or responses, please post them in the GotMatrix Information forum.
