I am interested in writing an ebay search script for the watchdogs. Hopefully, it would be able to do a number of searches on ebay, pick out as many offending auctions as possible, and then spit out a pretty little list for the user.
I don't think that I could make it submit the auctions auctomatically, as the auctions would have to be double-checked by the watchdog first, and then submitted by hand. It could however, print out a very pretty listing, so that the watchdog would just have to copy-paste!
What I need from the watchdogs is some help figuring out what search terms to use. The more accurate we can get in the search, the less number of legitimate auctions will show up in the search results, and therefore would be a less chance of catching an OK auction in my script results. I need:
#1- The ebay searches to use (exactly)
#2- The specific words you think would be found in the body of most offending auctions. Phrases would be even better!!!
Let me know what you think!
