Is Business Group USA a Scam? If you agree, then flag this site!
The site starts off on the homepage with a dream: “Imagine Financial Freedom and Taking Endless Vacations and Being your Own Boss...” Sounds interesting, but the site never really goes into much detail about what they do, and instead they ask users to submit a form with their personal info to receive further details. One page on their site did some info about referring people to businesses. Referral programs really don’t pay well, so if that is their program, then people will hardly be able to use the program to take “endless vacations”. Seems like yet another work-from-home scam.
There are also a few sketchy things about this site…
First, I noticed that their “submit your information” pages are not secure, or in other words, they don’t show a https:// address in the browser bar. This could leave people vulnerable to identity theft.
Second, I checked GoDaddy for their registrant info, and found that they’ve hidden their contact info behind a Domains By Proxy address. I’m very suspicious of websites that collect money or information from consumers and register for domains anonymously. No contact information or business-license details, etc. could be found on their website.
If this “business” turns out to be a scam, then I see them making it difficult for a person to seek restitution, as this “company” has already made it a point to not be easily located.
Site currently displays as Under Construction…
Looks like you may have called that one on the money.
For reference though, a lot of sites register by proxy to avoid spam. They should however, have some sort of contact information on the website though if they are a legitimate business.
Truly a scam and rip off! Never recieved ANYTHING and was charged for NOTHING. In addition, the customer service personnel were rude and condescending when I tried to explain what was happening blaming me! Another lesson learned about the rip off’s on the internet!
I never received anything but some email that had all this stuff about websites and making money off of the websites which I suppose I could have maybe done, but that was all I got. I assumed I would receive something in the mail about this progam etc. Never received anything and then was charged $39.85 for what I am not sure. I contacted the company and they did cancel my membership, but would not refund my $39.85 because they said it was past the 14 day trial period. I told them I hadn’t tried anything and that I was not aware that I would be receiving absolutely nothing when I asked for information and then be charged for it. Anyway, I changed my whole bank acct because worried that they would continue to charge me with my authorization. Do no sign up for their information for $1.95 it is a scam......

I’d stay away from this one.
